Embedded: MIPS-Based MCU Manages Motor Control
The TX19A70 brings the power of a 56-MHz, 32-bit MIPS processor to motor-control applications like air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators. Simultaneous vector motor control of inverter motors and application control is possible. There's a two-channel, three-phase pulse-width modulation output with a dead timer for motor control. The two 10-bit, sequential-conversion-type analog-to-digital converters achieve a conversion time of 2.36 µs. A single-channel encoder counter helps to detect motor position by using an encoder. Pricing for flash versions starts at $18.15. ROM versions are available. Toshiba America Electronic Components
